Department of Special Education Holds Scientific Workshop on Modern Strategies for Addressing Speech Disorders Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiyya, the Department of Special Education at the College of Education, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Modern Strategies for Dealing with Speech Disorders.” The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members and specialists in the field. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ya‘mur Rahim Hussein, General Supervisor of Al-Kafeel Institute for Speech and Language Disorders, which is affiliated with the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine. The lecture addressed the latest scientific and practical approaches to diagnosing speech and language disorders and methods of dealing with them, along with presenting training models and therapeutic mechanisms that contribute to developing the skills of specialists and practitioners in this area. The workshop aimed to enhance scientific awareness of speech disorders and to equip educational staff with modern strategies that support students and improve their ability to communicate effectively.
