The Al-Sadiqa Hall at the College of Engineering and Information Technology hosted an awareness lecture titled 'The Role of Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) in Islam after the Departure of the Greatest Messenger (peace be upon him and his family)', presented by M.D. John Al-Atabi, organised by the Student Activities Department in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Division and the Special Education Department, under the patronage of the General Secretariat of the Holy Hussaini Shrine and the supervision of the female university president. The lecture witnessed the participation of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaida Abdul Hussein Al-Mulla, alongside several female deans, academic and administrative staff, and students. It addressed the status of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and her role in reinforcing Islamic principles, highlighting the values and lessons drawn from her life and her prophetic stances. This participation comes as part of the College of Engineering and Information Technology's focus on awareness and cultural activities that help enhance religious and moral understanding among female students, and promote the integration of academic excellence with the development of a conscious university personality.
