The Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Al-Zahraa University for Women, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific workshop entitled "Architecture Between Art and Engineering," delivered by Prof. Dr. Muwafaq Jawad Al-Taie. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Zuheir Mohammed Ali Jaddou, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Abdul-Hussein Al-Mulla, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology.

 

The workshop explored the relationship between art and engineering in architecture, highlighting how the integration of aesthetic elements and engineering principles influences building design. It also emphasized the importance of creative thinking and specialized knowledge in developing architectural perspectives and meeting the evolving demands of contemporary architecture.
