Dr. Hassan Hadi Al-Qazzaz, Assistant President of Al-Zahraa University for Women for Administrative and Financial Affairs, received a delegation from the Karbala Martyrs Directorate to discuss avenues of cooperation in organizing literary and artistic activities aimed at raising students’ awareness of the crimes committed by the former Ba’athist regime and documenting the events of that period.

 

The meeting explored the possibility of organizing several cultural and awareness-raising activities at the university, including a student literary competition for the best short story addressing the crimes of the former Ba’athist regime. Discussions also covered a theatrical performance by Al-Khalidoon Troupe, affiliated with the Martyrs Foundation, highlighting the former regime’s violations and documenting events from that era.

 

Dr. Al-Qazzaz emphasized the university’s commitment to cultural and educational initiatives that honor the sacrifices of martyrs and enhance students’ understanding of Iraqi history.
