The faculty of Engineering and Information Technology continues to host the specialised course on smart building systems KNX, in collaboration with Elite Engineering Company, as part of a programme that combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications in building automation technologies. The course included practical exercises in integrating air conditioning and cooling systems with the KNX system, alongside a scientific presentation by one of the students titled Telegram, and a specialised lecture on interface devices in KNX networks, in addition to discussions on the prospects of establishing an accredited training centre and a specialised academic lab within the university. The course is supervised by Engineer Ahmed Al-Hariri, the CEO of Elite Engineering Company and an accredited KNX systems trainer, within the framework of cooperation aimed at developing engineering and practical skills among students and keeping up with global advancements in smart building technologies.
