The College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Psychological Counseling and Its Role in Reducing Exam Anxiety,” dedicated to the college’s female students.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Kawthar Kanaan, who discussed key topics focusing on understanding the nature of exam-related anxiety and its underlying causes, in addition to reviewing psychological counseling methods that help reduce its intensity and enhance students’ self-confidence. She also addressed practical techniques that support stress management and improve concentration during the examination period.
This workshop comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to support students’ psychological well-being and to create a balanced educational environment that promotes academic performance and emotional stability.
