Al-Zahraa University for Women received an official delegation from the Holy Kadhimiya Shrine, headed by Mr. Ali Banana, representative of the Public Relations Department, who extended a formal invitation for the University to participate in the 14th Annual International Conference under the motto: “Imaman Al-Hasanan: A Path of Truth and a Beacon of Knowledge”. As well as the 11th Annual International Arabic Poetry Festival under the motto: “Breezes of Rhyme and Loyalty between Al-Baqi and Karbala.” Additionally, both events are scheduled to be held in the Holy Kadhimiya Shrine.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Jaddoa, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, welcomed the delegation and affirmed the deep scientific and cultural ties between the University and the Holy Shrine. He further emphasised the University’s role in supporting joint intellectual and scientific activities and underlined the significance of collaboration to ensure the success of these events.

This conference forms part of the broader project of the Encyclopaedia of the Fourteen Infallible Imams (peace be upon them), serving as a distinguished academic and cultural platform that fosters scholarly dialogue, supports research initiatives, and strengthens collaboration between educational institutions and research centres both in Iraq and abroad. It also affirms the University’s pioneering role in enriching intellectual movements and serving the academic community.

Al-Zahraa University for Women expressed its sincere gratitude for this gracious invitation and affirmed its eagerness to participate actively in the conference and the festival. Besides, the University further stressed its commitment to contributing to the enrichment of its academic and cultural activities, thereby reflecting its leading role in advancing knowledge, supporting academic research, and enhancing scientific and cultural partnerships at both national and international levels.
