The Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Zahraa University for Women participated in the third edition of the Ayn Al-Hayat Exhibition, held at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds.
The Division showcased the artistic works produced by female students, in recognition of their creativity and as an affirmation of the role of women in the advancement of nations and their ability to excel across diverse fields with competence and determination. Additionally, the pavilion attracted considerable interest from visitors.
The opening ceremony was attended by a large number of prominent religious and cultural figures. In his address during the festival, Al-Sheikh Tariq Al-Baghdadi, General Supervisor of Al-Qabas Cultural Foundation, emphasised that preserving Islamic identity constitutes a fundamental challenge facing the nation. He highlighted the importance of strengthening cultural and intellectual foundations to address current challenges that seek to undermine and distort Islamic identity through various means.
For her part, Asst. Lect. Manal Abd Al-Amir, Head of the Women’s Affairs Division, affirmed that the Division’s participation in various events stems from the University’s belief in the role and capabilities of women. She noted that the University prioritises developing female students’ skills across diverse fields, in addition to their academic pursuits.
