Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, announced a scholarship initiative provided by His Eminence Al-Sheikh Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Karbala’i, the Legitimate Overseer of the Affairs of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine at two levels:

1. Full Scholarships: Available to first-year female students in the Department of Nahj Al-Balagha and Islamic Education, covering all years of their study.
2. Monthly Stipends for High-Achieving Female Students: Allocated to outstanding female students who memorise the sermons of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him). 

It bears noting that the said event comes as part and parcel of the opening ceremony of the Department of Nahj Al-Balagha and Islamic Education, and as an exceptional initiative by His Eminence Al-Karbala’i. 

This initiative is one of the many initiatives undertaken by the Holy Shrine to support society, uphold the quality and academic standards of education, and alleviate the financial burdens on citizens.
