اهداف القسم:

إعداد كوادر في مجال التربية الخاصة لديهم القدرة على تقديم خدمات التربية الخاصة والخدمات المساندة لمن لديهم إعاقات لتلبية حاجة سوق العمل في المجتمع .

2.     تنمية قدرة الكوادر على تشخيص وتقييم ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة .

3.     تدريب الطالبات على اجراء البحوث العلمية التي تخدم فئة ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.

4.     التعاون مع المؤسسات المعنية في هذا المجال مما يعزز الشراكة المجتمعية في مساندة ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة

5.     تفعيل أنشطة من ورش ودورات التعليم المستمر من اجل تعريف معلمي التعليم المستمر

6.     المشاركة في نشر الوعي عن المشاكل والقضايا المجتمعية والأسباب التي تقف ورائها وكيفية مواجهتها والوقاية منها.

7.     تهيئة المناخ المناسب للكوادر التدريسية والطالبات من اجل تحقيق الأهداف التعليمية  

1)     Preparing qualified professionals in the field of Special Education who are capable of providing special education and related support services for individuals with disabilities, in order to meet the needs of the labor market in the community.

2)     Developing the ability of professionals to diagnose and assess individuals with special educational needs.

3)     Training students to conduct scientific research that serves individuals with special educational needs.

4)     Cooperating with relevant institutions in this field in a way that enhances community partnership in supporting individuals with special needs.

5)     Activating activities such as workshops and continuing education courses to raise awareness and develop the skills of continuing education teachers.

6)     Participating in spreading awareness of social problems and issues, their underlying causes, and ways to address and prevent them.

Providing a supportive educational environment for faculty members and students in order to achieve educational objectives
