Praise be to Allah, who revealed to His servant the Book in a clear Arabic language, and may prayers and peace be upon the best of those who spoke with the letter Ḍād, the bringer of glad tidings and a warner, Muhammad, and upon his pure family. The language of the Noble Qur’an is a profound civilizational heritage, confronting aggressive globalization and rampant exploitation, winds that blow threatening our identity and aiming to uproot it. Hence, the Arabic departments rise as guardians and protectors, with conscious and devoted staff, preserving the blessed and sacred language of the Book and its Prophet, may Allah’s peace be upon him and his family. Inspired by this great responsibility, the Holy Shrine has played its pioneering role through the University of Al-Zahra (peace be upon her).
